President Tinubu Orders Investigation, Prosecution Of Kano Mosque Fire Suspects
President Bola Tinubu has directed law enforcement agencies to conduct a swift and diligent investigation into the fire incident at a mosque in Larabar Abasawa, Gezawa council area of Kano state, which claimed several lives and left many others injured.
President Tinubu also ordered the prosecution of suspects found to be responsible for the act of arson, which led to the tragic incident.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday, May 21, by his special adviser on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu condemned the act of arson and expressed his condolences to the Government and people of Kano State, as well as the bereaved families and all those affected.
“President Bola Tinubu sends his condolences to the Government and people of Kano State over the fire incident that led to the death of some worshippers at a mosque at Larabar Abasawa in Gezawa Local Government Area of the state.
“President Tinubu commiserates with the bereaved families, all those affected, and prays for a quick recovery for the wounded”, the statement said.
