Osun Speaker Consoles Oyo Majority Leader Over Son’s Tragic Death

The Osun State House of Assembly Speaker, Mr. Adewale Egbedun, on Thursday, express his condolences to the Oyo State House of Assembly Majority Leader, Mr. Sanjo Adedoyin, over the death of his son, Faith Adedoyin, in a road accident.
He was a 500-level student in the Department of Accounting at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
This online platform gathered that Faith Adedoyin was one of the victims of a fatal accident that happened on Wednesday in Ilobu, Osun State, while a vehicle conveying some LAUTECH students back to Ogbomoso after a trip to Oluminrin waterfall, Erin Ijesa, got involved in an accident.
Egbedun, through his Chief Press Secretary, Olamide Tiamiyu, released a statement describing the news of Faith’s passing as shocking. He also offered prayers and wished the grieving family strength to cope with the irreplaceable loss.
The statement read in parts, “I received with rude shock the news of the untimely death of Faith Adedoyin, a 500 level Accounting department of LAUTECH and a son to Oyo State Assembly Majority Leader.”
“On behalf of myself, my family, and the entire Osun State 8th House of Assembly, I commiserate with Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin and the entire family. The Lord will grant you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Please, accept my condolences.”
