Protesters demand Oluwo’s suspension

Protesters on Monday demanded the suspension of Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, who allegedly assaulted the Agbowu of Ogbaagbaa town, Oba Sikirulahi Akinropo, in the presence of the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Bashir Makama, at a peace meeting on Friday.
The protesters arrived the Government Secretariat today carrying placards with different inscriptions including ‘Oyetola save our soul’, ‘Oluwo is no longer human being’, ‘No king is above the law’, ‘Tired of Oluwo’s reckless acts’, ‘Oluwo is a threat to peaceful coexistence; the law should take its course on him’.
